Conflict Resolution
June 23 - August 18, 2023 "Conflict Resolution", a group exhibition in the Project Room examines the dialogue between the extremes of light and darkness. The artists are James Austin Murray, Arny Nadler, Jill Downen, Lisa K. Blatt, Michael Byron, Judy Child and Bunny Burson.
The artists in this exhibition use black and white colors to create contrast, harmony, tension, and balance in their works, reflecting on the complex and nuanced relationships between opposites. The exhibition explores how black and white can evoke different emotions, meanings, and associations, such as purity and sin, peace and war, life, and death. The exhibition also challenges the viewers to question their own perceptions and biases, and to appreciate the diversity and richness of the spectrum between black and white. Read more -
