Andréa Stanislav

American (b. 1968, Chicago)

Forthcoming exhibition at Bruno David Gallery: November 18, 2017 - January 13, 2018

Lives and works in New York City and Minneapolis. Her hybrid practice of sculpture, installation, video, and public art, explores the architecture of empire, while being anchored in a collision of beauty and horror -- dualities that intimate sublimity. Ms. Stanislav received a MFA from Alfred University, New York; and a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
